Debi Roth's background includes a B.A. in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood Education. She has been directing preschools for many years and brings a wealth of experience.About Us
The Lion & Lamb Christian School is a ministry of Grace Church that opened its doors in January of 1996. As a ministry of Grace Church, we affirm the commandment of Christ: “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven." (Mt. 19:14) Our school provides preschool and kindergarten children with a Bible-centered Christian education of the highest quality by creating an atmosphere where children feel loved, nurtured and secure.
We are a non-profit, 12 month preschool with appropriate developmental programs for children between the ages of three and six. We believe socialization is an important aspect of a child’s education, focusing on the process of play and not the product. Play stimulates imagination, creates opportunities for positive interaction, and is essential in providing a vital and vivid childhood.
We also offer a kindergarten program for children five years old on or before September 30th. Our kindergarten program is certified by the State Department of Education and our teacher has a degree in elementary education.
Our staff are certified in CPR and First Aid and meet Washoe County Social Services and Nevada State Department of Education requirements for employment.

Special Programs
- Kiddin' Around is a 30min fitness program designed specifically for chidlren 3-6 yrs of age. This class is taught by Julie Woods, who has 25 years of fitness experience.
- We offer a Summer Camp program for children 1st-6th grade.
- We incorporate the Spanish language into every class setting.
- We offer a Physical Education program with a certified instructor once a week for kindergarten classes.
- We also offer Art in Motion, a ballet class held by a professional dancer, for 40 minutes once a week.
